“Its official! Aussie’s love Resto my Ride” Sam Martin, Executive Producer – Resto my Ride

The season premiered on November 25th to a great response and quickly drove up in the ratings to end the 6 episode season on a high. Resto my Ride is the first locally produced series to be acquired by 9RUSH, the joint venture between Nine and Discovery and has been a tremendous success for the channel.

“By episode two, we had doubled the 25-54 demo week on week with an even larger increase with the 16 to 39 year old’s. We continued to increase in viewers and hold strong to the end of the season and that was great finish to what was a tough year for us in both production and car restoration in 2020”

 “Resto my Ride in combination with other world class brands Iron Resurrection and Kindig Customs delivered 9RUSH the highest Wednesday total people share ever,” said Sam.

Resto my Ride viewers were entertained, informed and inspired throughout the season and this reflected in both the ratings and engagement across digital platforms. “We have definitely inspired a lot of people to Resto. There are a lot of people out there working on their cars, and we love that! And, importantly for us, we have been able to get our local Aussie content out to Aussies all thanks to the guys at Nine and Discovery who believed in the show. We are very proud of everything we have achieved with Resto My Ride and think the sky is the limit with what we can achieve with season two”.
