Resto my Ride Premiere on 9 Rush

“9 RUSH announces program schedule for Resto my Ride Australia Season Premiere”

Season Premiere of Resto my Ride on 9 RUSH on Wednesday 25th of November, 2020 at 7.30pm

Resto my Ride is the first Australian series to be acquired by 9RUSH, the joint venture between Nine and Discovery.

Season 1 is 6 x 1 hour episodes, premiering Episode one – “EJ for EJ”

Dec commits to building an “EJ Holden for the EJ Whitten” Charity Foundation. In only 9 short weeks Dec has to call in his buddies to help finish the build in time for the auction day. Dec gets a huge surprise from his Dad and works with Australia’s most well-known AFL footy legends, Ted Whitten Junior, Sam Newman, Robert “Dipper” DiPierdomenico, Billy Brownless, Doug Hawkins, Sam Kekovich and comedian, Russell Gilbert. 

 

Wednesday November 25th at 7.30pm – 9RUSH – ( episode 1 of 6 ) New Series Premiere 

Thursday November 26th at 10.30pm ( repeat )

Nine acquires Resto my Ride

“Aussie car lovers have gone in to overdrive with the announcement of Resto my Ride’s partnership with Channel 9”

 

Announced in the annual Multichannel survey on TV Tonight, Channel 9 has confirmed its acquisition of the locally produced Car Restoration TV show, Resto my Ride for Multichannel 9RUSH and 9Now.  

Resto my Ride is the first Australian series to be acquired by 9RUSH, the joint venture between Nine and Discovery. The series has been picked up by Discovery Internationally, recently airing on the Motor Trend network in the USA and Europe and performed well.

Producer Sam Martin says she is very proud to be partnered with Nine for the season premiere in Australia. “We have a lot of firsts up our sleeve with Resto my Ride, but this one really is a huge achievement for us. Being the first show acquired by Nine for the Partnership, especially during these tough times really shows how well received the content is by the network powerhouse”  Sam said.

“As producers, we always wanted to broadcast Resto my Ride on the very best channels that will get to our audience. Having our show on National free to air TV means that we can deliver our content to our fans at no cost to them, on a channel that has really captivated that “high octane” male skewed demographic that is our audience”.

Saint-Gobain owned Norton Abrasives has this week announced a Key partnership with Dec McKearney as National Brand Ambassador for Norton Abrasives Pacific.

Resto my Ride, the TV series hosted by McKearney and filmed at Resto’s and Rods Garage will shortly head in to Production of its second season of the internationally broadcast car restoration show with Norton Abrasives as a key partner in the show.
